Teaches children as young as seven, the basic skills they will need in a fun, friendly environment. They will learn under the guidance of our PGA and LPGA instructors.

All full day campers will receive a new pair of Nike golf shoes.

All half day campers will receive a new Nike polo shirt.

All repeat campers (multiple sessions in 2019) will receive a new Nike polo shirt.

 This fall golf league will allow junior golfers a chance to play nine holes of golf every Saturday morning throughout the fall on The Apple 9.  Tee times will be reserved from 8:00am to 9:00am. Tee times will be assigned by pro shop and emailed to parents a few days prior.  At the conclusion of the final week a breakfast banquet will be served for all the participants and their families on the patio.  Each participant will receive a league gift at the breakfast banquet. 

 League registration is $50. Weekly green fees will be $13.  Green fees are included with a 2019 Lyman Membership, Family or Junior Season Pass.  Players will not be sent out alone.  If players would like to play an additional nine holes we ask if the parents would simply make a tee time for two hours after their originally scheduled time.  Cost to replay is $10.

JUNIOR GOLF 101 CLINIC - This beginner instruction will include topics such as etiquette, rules of the game, putting, chipping and full swing theory mechanics. Juniors do not need to have their own equipment...we will supply all clubs and balls. Sneakers required. At the conclusion of the clinic season all juniors and parents will be given a comprehensive review of all that was covered in the five weeks.

JUNIOR GOLF 201 CLINIC - Intermediate instruction will also include topics such as etiquette, rules of the game, putting, chipping and full swing theory mechanics. Juniors will go onto the golf course to play holes of golf. At the conclusion of the five week clinic season all juniors and parents will also be given a comprehensive review of all topics covered.

These very beginner classes are geared toward the 4 to 6 year old 
that is just becoming interested in golf.

  • 5 sessions
  • 45 minute sessions
  • 6 to 1 student to instructor ratio (Max 6 students per class)
  • Utilizing both SNAG golf equipment and traditional golf equipment
  • Weekly topics include:
    • Putting
    • Chipping
    • Full-Swing
    • Bunkers
    • Games
  • Students will have golf clubs provided for them
  • Students will have a complimentary fitting given to them by instructional team
  • After the final clinic juniors will be given a complimentary round of golf and ice cream ticket to be used at their parents discretion
  • Cost: $75

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf is a 5-week program, for ages 7-17, that runs for one hour per class with the only national initiative of its kind
and supports young ladies who may not otherwise have the opportunity to be exposed to the game of golf.

 Separate from PGA Jr. League, this spring league will allow junior golfers a chance to play nine holes of golf every Saturday from late April to late June.  Tee times will be reserved from 8:00am to 9:00am. Tee times will be assigned by pro shop and emailed to parents the Tuesday prior.  At the conclusion of the final week (June 22nd) a breakfast banquet will be served for all the participants and their families on the patio.  Each participant will receive a league gift at the breakfast banquet. 

 

  League registration is $50.  Similar to the format of Little League Baseball, this program is growing exponentially at a local and national level!  Your youngster will have the chance to get a taste for competitive golf at Lyman Orchards. PGA Junior League consists of one practice per week and one match per week on one of our three challenging courses.  Juniors will play as a 2-person team in a scramble format.  Practices begin Wednesday May 15th and run every Wednesday through mid-June.  Matches begin on Sunday afternoons in June.
