Strawberry Picking Update (as of 6/11/11)
Pick Your Own Strawberries will be available on a limited basis throughout the month. We are in the middle of a rebuilding program with our strawberry fields, and the new field planted last summer has not grown in as quickly as we had hoped, but mid-season varieties appear to be coming in better than we expected.

There will be plenty of fresh-picked native strawberries available for sale in our Apple Barrel market throughout the month. In addition to what we pick from our fields, we are also bringing in berries from other local Connecticut growers to keep us in good supply.

All other crops are fine, and are ripening on schedule. Pick Your Own Strawberries will be available on a normal schedule in June 2012.
