Lyman Orchards Easter Apple Hunt
Children will have fun exploring our Easter Hay Maze for apples!
Parents, we welcome your family's participation in our annual Easter Apple Hunt, Connecticut's only Apple Hunt! This event is free, and open to the public. Children, ages 12 months to 10 years old, may participate.
Due to high volume, our Apple Hunt is nearly filled. We regret that we cannot accept any more online registrations. Registrations will be accepted only in person at the Apple Barrel.

Free Magic Show with Jonathan Jacques, 1pm
Bunny Cake Workshop, 2pm $8 workshop fee; class size is limited. Register by calling 860/349-6043.
Kids' Cherry Pie Workshop, 3pm $8 workshop fee; This workshop is filled!
Parents, please note:
Photographs may be taken randomly during the event by Lyman Orchard personnel and members of the media. Such photographs may appear on our website, or may be submitted to local media, with your permission. Digital copies of photographs are available to you. If you do not want publication of your child(ren's) photograph, or do not want a photograph taken, please notify the photographer at the time of the event.
Apple Hunt Rules:
- Adults are allowed in the Hay Maze to assist children in the 12 month-3 years old age group.
- For the enjoyment of the children, we ask that parents and older siblings refrain from picking up apples intended for the children.
- Please wait in the designated areas during the Hunt.
- Hunt times are segregated by age group. With the exception of the youngest group, persons other than the ages specified below are not allowed in the Hay Maze until each age group has finished hunting for apples.
10:30am: ages 12 months to 3 years
11:15am: ages 4 years to 6 years
12 noon: ages 7 years to 10 years
- Children may keep all the apples they find. Labels on apples indicate prizes which may be redeemed inside the Apple Barrel market.
- Please wash apples used in the Apple Hunt, prior to consumption.
- Please do not throw apples and hay bales! For the safety of all, exercise patience and caution at all times!
